Software that knows the cellar door.
Winery software from the team behind Members One: POS, club, reservations and loyalty in one platform, built in South Australia after eight years supporting wineries on overseas systems, and backed by people who answer the phone.
Most wineries run direct sales on a patchwork. A POS that does not talk to the online shop, club billing that fails quietly, member details spread across spreadsheets and three logins, and a platform priced in US dollars with support in another time zone. Everyone at the cellar door knows the workarounds. Nobody loves them.
We know the patchwork first-hand. Before Webgrid, our founder spent more than eight years as the sole Australian representative for WineDirect, onboarding and supporting over fifty winery clients and managing a major platform migration. Years of seeing what Australian wineries, breweries and distilleries actually need convinced us that nothing on the market fit how they run.
So we built it. Members One is a CRM and venue management platform covering cellar door POS on iPad or iPhone, club management, reservations and events, loyalty and inventory, with Stripe Tap to Pay and offline support for when the connection drops. Australian-built and Australian-supported by the people who wrote it. Webgrid handles everything around it: the migration, the shop and accounting connections, the website and the IT. Fixed quotes in writing, flat monthly support, no hourly surprises.

Where this comes from.
Eight years, fifty wineries. Before building anything, our founder was the sole Australian representative for WineDirect for more than eight years, onboarding and supporting over fifty winery clients and managing a major platform migration. The product came after the apprenticeship, not before it.
Members One. The platform six wineries now run their clubs on: billing, orders, emails and the cellar-door till on an iPad, built, hosted and supported from South Australia by the people who wrote it. read the case study
Juxtaposed Wines. A McLaren Vale winery website with a full online shop and wine club, run day to day by a small team with no technical staff. The website side of the same job, done by the same people. read the case study
// how it works
How it works.
A straight conversation
Tell us how the cellar door, club and shop run today, and where it hurts. We have sat on your side of that conversation for years.
A recommendation in writing
Sometimes the answer is Members One. Sometimes a simple WooCommerce or Shopify club is honestly enough, and we say so. Either way, a fixed recommendation and quote in writing.
Migrate and build
We move you off the old platform with club, member and order data preserved, connect the shop and the accounting, and build anything custom your operation needs.
Kept running, locally
Flat monthly support from the people who wrote the software, in your time zone, on the phone. Improvements keep shipping, because we run the platform too.
// no hourly surprises. fixed quotes, in writing, before any commitment.

Questions, answered straight.
Can you move us off our current platform without losing club members?
Yes, that is the job we are built for. Club, member and order data comes across, including from legacy and overseas DTC platforms such as WineDirect, and the move is planned so the club keeps running through the change. We managed a major platform migration long before Members One existed, so this is familiar ground.
Why did you build your own platform?
Because after eight-plus years onboarding and supporting more than fifty wineries on an overseas platform, we kept seeing the same gaps: clubs, POS and bookings in separate systems, pricing in US dollars, support somewhere else. Members One is the system we wished those wineries had, built from scratch for how Australian producers actually run.
What if Members One isn't the right fit?
Then we say so and build the smaller thing. Some wineries just need a clean WooCommerce or Shopify club alongside their shop, and we build those too, the Juxtaposed Wines club among them. We would rather set you up with the simple thing that fits than migrate you onto the big thing that does not.
Can our POS and online shop finally talk to each other?
Yes. On Members One the POS, club and member records live in one system, and the online shop connects to it, including WordPress shops via our plugin. One member, one record, whether they buy at the cellar door or at midnight from the couch.
Do you work outside South Australia?
Yes. We are based on the doorstep of McLaren Vale and work with wine, beer and spirits producers Australia-wide. Migrations, builds and support all run remotely without drama, and the support stays Australian: your time zone, your currency, a real phone number.
Can you also handle our website, email and IT?
Yes, and most clients end up there. We build and host winery websites and online shops, run business email, and look after the IT underneath, so the platform, the website and the infrastructure share one roof and one phone number. Juxtaposed Wines runs exactly that way.
