A website someone actually looks after.
Website maintenance and care plans from an Adelaide studio: hosting, backups, updates and changes on request, for sites we built and sites we didn't. Three plans from $99 a month, month to month, and a real local person to call.
Most websites get launched, celebrated and then left to rot. Updates stop running, backups quietly fail or never existed, and the developer who knew the logins has moved on. Nobody notices until something breaks, and then everybody discovers that nobody is responsible.
A care plan with Webgrid makes the site someone's job again. We host it on Australian infrastructure, automated monitoring watches it around the clock, backups run and get checked, security and software updates are applied, and when you want the prices, the team page or the photos changed, you send it over and it happens.
We are a two-person Adelaide software studio, and that matters more than it sounds. When a plugin breaks or a site crawls, we read the code and fix the cause rather than restarting things and hoping. We take on sites we built and sites built by others, WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify included, and taking over from a vanished developer is a core part of the job. Three plans with the prices on this page, fixed quotes in writing for bigger work, and no lock-in: month to month, cancel any time. If we built the site, pick a plan below and it starts. If someone else did, talk to us first; we look before we quote.

Kept running, in practice.
Intraline Health & Beauty. An Adelaide health and beauty site that has never needed its owner to think about hosting, updates or backups, because the team that built it is the team that looks after it. read the case study
Juxtaposed Wines. A working WooCommerce store where the winery manages products and orders, and everything underneath, hosting, updates, security, stays our problem. Years on, it is still our problem, which is the point of a care plan. read the case study
// how it works
How it works.
A straight conversation
Tell us about the site and its history: who built it, where it lives, what you can and cannot log into. If you do not know, that is normal, and finding out is our job, not yours.
We take over and audit
We recover or reset access, document what actually exists, and move the hosting to our infrastructure if that is the right call. You get a straight report on what shape the site is in.
Urgent fixes first
Anything actively broken, insecure or embarrassingly slow gets dealt with first. Bigger improvements get a fixed quote in writing, for you to take or leave.
Kept running
From there it is one of the three plans below: hosting, monitoring, backups, updates and changes when you ask, month to month. One number to call, answered by someone who knows your site.
// month to month, cancel any time. no lock-in, no exit fee, no hourly surprises.
// faq
Questions, answered straight.
How much does website maintenance cost?
Essentials is $99 a month, Standard is $199 and Growth is $349, all inc GST, month to month with no lock-in. Which one fits depends on how often the site changes: Essentials keeps it hosted, safe and current, Standard adds an hour of changes every month, Growth adds SEO work and a quarterly report. Work outside a plan is $150 an hour plus GST, quoted before we start. Sites we did not build are assessed first, because a neglected WooCommerce store is not the same job as a tidy brochure site, and the takeover is quoted in writing.
What counts as an hour of changes?
The things a site needs to stay current: new prices, new people, new photos, copy edits and small layout tweaks. Send the change over and it is done within two business days. New pages, new features and redesigns are bigger jobs, quoted separately as fixed work. Unused time does not roll over; the hour is there to be used, not banked.
What happens if we cancel?
You tell us, the plan stops at the end of the month, and there is no exit fee. The site stays live while you move it, and you leave with everything: the files, the database, the domain and the logins, all in your name. Month to month means month to month.
Our web developer disappeared. Can you take over the site?
Yes, and it is one of the most common ways businesses come to us. We recover or reset access to the domain, hosting and site, document what actually exists, and bring it all under one roof so it cannot be orphaned again. You do not need to know the logins or the history; untangling that is part of the job.
You didn't build our site. Is that a problem?
No. We maintain sites built by others as well as our own, including WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify. Because we build software ourselves, unfamiliar code is not a barrier: we read it, document it and fix it properly rather than working around it.
What if the site is beyond saving?
Then we say so before you spend money maintaining it. We assess what is there and tell you straight whether it is better rescued or rebuilt, with a fixed quote in writing either way. If it is a rebuild, your content, URLs and Google rankings are preserved through the move.
Are backups and security included?
Yes, both are core to every care plan, not extras. Backups run automatically and get checked, security patches and software updates are applied, and monitoring watches uptime around the clock. The plain version of the risk: an unmaintained site fails eventually, and it rarely picks a convenient week to do it.
Can you handle our email and hosting too?
Yes. Hosting is part of the plan, on Australian infrastructure we run ourselves, and as a Microsoft partner we can put your email on your own domain under the same roof. One team and one number for the website, the hosting and the email.
Told the site is better rebuilt than rescued, or just curious what a new one involves?
