Point of sale that talks to everything.
We set up point of sale for Adelaide businesses and wire it into the rest of what you run: the website, the online store, stock and the accounting. Square, WooCommerce or custom. We built our own POS, so we know what breaks when these things do not talk.
Most point of sale problems are not the till. The till works. What does not work is everything around it: the online store selling stock the counter sold an hour ago, takings retyped into the accounting by hand, a customer who is a regular in one system and a stranger in the other. Every one of those is a job somebody does twice.
Webgrid is not a POS reseller. We are a software and IT studio, so the part we care about is the joins. Card payments, the store, stock levels, customer records and the books all agreeing with each other, without anyone keying the same sale in twice. We set Square up, connect it to WooCommerce, and make the pieces behave like one system instead of five subscriptions.
We also built a point of sale of our own. MO POS has been live on the App Store for years, running cellar doors from an iPad. Building one from scratch teaches you exactly where these systems leak, and that is the experience you get when we set up yours. Fixed quote in writing, one team, nobody to hand you off to.

POS we have built and wired.
MO POS. We built a full point of sale from scratch. MO POS has been live on the App Store for years, running cellar doors from an iPad with tasting sessions, club signups and GST handled. Building one teaches you where every other POS leaks. read the case study
Intraline Health & Beauty. We are integrating Square with WooCommerce for Intraline right now, Square Payments included, so the clinic's counter and its online store finally run off one system instead of two.

// how it works
How it works.
We watch you take a sale
Before recommending anything we look at how money actually moves through your business: the counter, the website, the stock, the bookkeeping. The gaps are usually obvious once somebody looks properly.
Set up and connected
We configure the point of sale, wire it into your store and your payments, and test it with your real products at your real prices rather than samples.
Your team runs it
Your staff learn the till, the refunds and the daily close in plain language before you go live, so nobody is ringing us to ring up a sale.
Kept talking
Platforms update and integrations break. We watch yours, fix them, and you hear about it from us rather than from a customer at the counter.
// fixed quotes in writing, before you commit to anything.
// faq
Questions, answered straight.
Which POS systems do you work with?
Square is the one we set up most, and we build custom where an off-the-shelf till will not fit. We also built our own point of sale, MO POS, for wineries. If you are already running something else, tell us what it is and we will say honestly whether we can help.
Can Square and WooCommerce share stock?
Yes, and getting that right is usually the whole job. When the counter and the online store read from the same stock, you stop overselling and stop counting twice. We are wiring exactly this up for a health and beauty clinic at the moment.
What does a POS setup cost?
It is quoted individually, in writing, before any commitment. The figure depends on how many products you carry, how many staff use the till and how many systems need to talk to each other. You get a fixed number rather than an hourly estimate that grows.
We already have a POS but it does not talk to our website.
That is the most common reason people call us about this. We look at what you have, work out whether it can be connected or whether moving costs less over a couple of years, and tell you which, with the reasoning in writing.
Will our staff be able to use it?
That is the test we set ourselves. We load your real products, set permissions so staff cannot accidentally do damage, and walk the team through sales, refunds and the daily close before launch. If your staff need us to operate the till, we have built it wrong.
Do you do this outside Adelaide?
Yes. We are based in Adelaide and work across South Australia and nationally. Most of the setup and integration work is remote, and we say up front when something genuinely needs a person standing at the counter.
