Keep the order, keep the margin.
Websites for Adelaide restaurants, cafes and takeaways with menus, online ordering and bookings built in. Orders through your own site pay no per-order commission, and every customer stays on your list, not a platform's.
Every order through a delivery platform hands away a slice of margin, on food you cooked, to reach a customer who lives five minutes away. Meanwhile the website shows a phone number and a PDF menu from last winter, the specials live only on a chalkboard, and bookings interrupt service because they arrive by phone.
Webgrid builds restaurant and cafe websites that do the work: menus updated in one place, online ordering and click and collect paid through Stripe, reservations without the phone, and photography given room to make people hungry. Orders through your own site carry no per-order commission, and the customer's details land in your list for your own marketing, not someone else's.
We are not a template shop bolting a plugin onto a theme. We built Members One, a venue management platform with a native iPad POS, Stripe Tap to Pay and kitchen docket printing, so we know service flow and busy counters first-hand. One honest note: delivery platforms still have a place for reach. The goal is that your regulars order direct. Fixed quotes in writing, flat monthly hosting and care, no hourly surprises.

We know hospitality.
Members One. A venue management platform we built for wineries, breweries and distilleries: native iPad POS, Stripe Tap to Pay, receipt and kitchen docket printing, and offline support for when the internet drops mid-service. We have shipped the software that runs a busy counter, not just websites that point at one. read the case study
Wineries, cellar doors & venues. No restaurant logos on our work page yet, said plainly. But cellar doors and venues run tastings, functions and food service, and we build for them to the standard your kitchen would expect.
// how it works
How it works.
A straight conversation
Between services, at the counter or on the phone after close. We work out what you want more of: orders, bookings or functions. A fixed quote in writing follows.
Design & build
Built around your menu, your photos and how orders should flow. Working pages early, so you review the real thing, not mockups.
Launch without disrupting service
Domain, email and the old site handled carefully, and the switch happens between services, not during the Friday rush.
Kept running
Hosting, backups and updates stay with us, and menu changes are handled on request. Send the new menu over and it goes up fast.
// no hourly surprises. fixed quotes, in writing, before any commitment.
// faq
Questions, answered straight.
How much does a restaurant website cost?
A fixed quote in writing before any commitment, sized to the job. A site with menus and bookings is one scope, a full online ordering system is another, and the quote spells out which you are getting. Hosting and care is a flat monthly amount, and unlike a per-order commission, it does not grow with your sales.
Can customers order and pay on the site?
Yes. Online ordering and click and collect run through your own website with payment by Stripe, so the order is commission-free and the customer's contact details stay with you for your own marketing. That is the core of the pitch: your orders, your margin, your list.
Can you update our menu for us?
Yes, menu changes are part of the care plan, handled on request. The menu lives in one place on the site rather than in three PDFs, so a price change or a new special is one edit. If you would rather do it yourself, we build on WordPress so your team can, and show you how.
Do we still need the delivery apps?
Honestly, maybe. Delivery platforms are good at reach and putting you in front of new customers, and for some venues that is worth what it costs. The goal of your own ordering is different: your regulars, the people who already know you, order direct with no commission. Most venues end up running both, weighted toward direct.
Can it handle bookings too?
Yes. We wire in a booking widget that fits how you seat, or build enquiry forms for functions and groups that capture dates, numbers and contact details properly. If you already use a reservations system, we assess connecting to it during scoping and tell you straight what works.
How long does it take?
Most restaurant and cafe sites are live within weeks of the go-ahead. We need your menu, your photos and a conversation, then we do the rest and fit reviews around service hours. Nothing launches during the rush and nothing goes live without your say-so.
Selling more than meals? The store side has its own page.
